That will make a nice bow. This wood is pretty dense stuff. You can get plenty out of 1-1/4" W limbs.

That bark will come off as clean as a whistle with just a few quick scrapes of a blade. I'd mark off center and then 2-1/2" out either side of center, then reduce the belly side a bit on either limb...
